Looking forward to testing the new step counter.

Where do I get the ticwear companion app for Android? The update app has disappeared from the app itself.

the date shown on the calendar card on my watch is not right. e.g. today's date is 10 Jul, however, the date on the calendar card is 12 Jul.

I don't have a "direct" device comparison, i.e. Fitbit vs Ticwear, but seeing the steps on my watch vs Google Fit (which tracks passively in the background) I am seeing the steps being massively over estimated:
Google Fit: 643
Ticwear: 1592

I think we're back at square one for the step counting algorithm. I mean, in general, all step counters are said to be wildly inaccurate, so maybe Ticwear IS more accurate than Google Fit. I'm not sure what the "gold standard" of step tracking is that we should be measuring up against.

Hi Harboe,

Did you use beta firmware version and stable companion version? If so, please re-pair, then it will remind you to update.

Hi Dear,

The calendar card shows next event, not current date. In your case, that means your next event is on 12 July. Please check whether am I right.

Gaby, why does the 4.10.1_intl_a1 companion not offer an update to 4.12.0_intl_a1?
Also, opening the pair code URL results in a download of the 4.10.1_intl_a1 companion.
What's wrong here?

Yes, the step counter is MUCH better. I did some tests at working walking through the hallways, and they were within 5 steps of the distances I walked. 20 steps, 50 steps, 150 steps. Thank you!!
