Ok, so I made some tests for step counter... Seems most of the problems are with little walks around after sitting for some time and stairs.

I went for a run with Fitbit Flex, Pebble Steel and Ticwatch 2 for approx. 2.2km, step counters showed the following number of steps:
Fitbit: 2040
Pebble: 2026
Ticwatch 2: 1952

Then I did a little walk outside for around 700 meters:
Fitbit: 790
Pebble: 745
Ticwatch 2: 752

Then I wore all three devices at home just sitting and doing small walks inside the house and this are the results:
Fitbit: 335
Pebble: 380
Ticwatch 2: 96

So this is where it comes to the main difference.

Thanks so much for your tests, sustah!

It seems to be too odd for the third test. It's definitely not correct. If possible, could you please provide more test results for our analysis? For example, can you set a certain distance(just like the first two tests), wear three different device to see the steps?

I updated today and my watch disconnects more than ever. iPhone version 10.3.2. A lot of times it disconnects and doesn't even let me know. Please fix this.

Would it be possible to get a link to the app version 4.10.1? I'm running 4.10.1 on my watch but received an update for the app last night that changed it from 4.10.1 to 4.10

I can back this up. Looking at my stepcount history in the app. I always had days of 8k steps to 10k steps after work.
Now looking at my watch when coming home I only have about 3500 steps.

To explain the situation a bit more:
I have a desk job at a support desk, but I also manage our inhouse inventory and shipments, meaning I sit for longer times behind my desk
then need to go to the stock grab some things and head back to my desk. Often these steps don't get registered.

This is inline with the findings of sustah

I noticed the calendar event shown on my quick card always on 7 Jul

Is there any reason?

Yes, this. I seemed to have lost the 4.10.1 phone app due to a recent update.

Contacts

When I go to send a text to anyone it says that the person has no phone number. Permission has been granted and contacts are on. How do you sync contacts from an android phone to the tic watch?

If you don't have an current event, it will show the latest next one. It seems your next event is on 7, July.
